Knocking out castings in centrifugals with a steel rod.
What happened
Employee was using a steel rod to knock a small casting out of the centrifugal molds. The castings sometimes get stuck. Using the rod with the right arm like a battering ram the rod hit the casting and pushed back on his shoulder. He said he felt a pop and reported the injury.
