The employee reported that they attempted to step onto the apron from the operator side of the palletizer in order to reach the non-operator side and loosen bolts on a bearing cover. As they stepped onto the apron it unexpectedly moved. The employee 's right foot became caught on something (unknown) during the motion causing their right knee to twist inward.
