What happened
Employee was prepping a flat sheet of cardboard for packaging jamb material when the incident occurred (no gloves). The flat sheet of cardboard was placed on a table with part of it overhanging the edge of table. Individual was holding the overhanging piece with one hand while running the knife along the cardboard between his hand and table. During the cut the knife veered over onto his left thumb causing a laceration across the joint of his thumb.
