Before the incident
I had just finished scrubbing in on a C-section.
What happened
When the case was finished I picked up my instrument tray to transport it to our soiled utility room. An adson pickup was poking through the holes in the bottom of the tray and punctured my right palm through my exam glove. I immediately removed my glove and went to wash my hands while sqeezing the area to of the puncture site.
