What happened
As employee reached in to hold shaft for alignment the shaft bumped the sprocket which was tied to the oven door as support to keep oven door stay open. The sprocket moved from the incident and caused the strap to come unloosen around the oven door which closed on the employee 's left hand.

Initially a contusion but was later determined to be a fractured through x-ray.
