What happened

Patient returned to room from walk and accompanied by patient mother. This RN got pushed onto floor and re-attempted to calm patient down with mom. Patient inconsolable and grabbed RN 's hair and pushed RN into doorway. Additional RN entered room to assist. Patient got back to bed with [REDACTED] arrival and bedside RN. Restraints were attempted to be placed back on patient arms. Patient appeared to be calm but then became violent and combative while in bed. Patient kicked [REDACTED] in L chest shoulder and second kick to Right chest. Patient then grabbed Mom 's hair and then used free legs to kick this bedside RN in right shoulder. Called again for additional help. Event resolved by talking him down patient in restraints and he became calm.
