Employee was measuring runout on [REDACTED] spindle on [REDACTED]

Employee put bearing and GN gauge on threaded side of spindle. He grabbed the threads to turn the spindle to check the bearing runout. A burr entered his right index finger. He removed it and continued working and it became infected [REDACTED] later.

The punctured skin was left untreated and turned into cellulitis and reported on 3 29 23.
