Providing patient care repositioning

while repositioning a patient in bed I experienced a sharp pull in my lower back which immediately caused significant pain. I attempted to continue with my tasks including picking up the remaining items but the pain intensified. Despite my efforts to keep working the discomfort became severe to the point that I was unable to walk or even sit without difficulty.
