Employee states she was attempting to adjust the timing on bagger 2 She opened the side door letting the blades stop She then reached into the slicer to brush crumbs off the guide Something distracted her and she looked away When she looked away her right middle finger came in contact with slicer blade This resulted in a cut to the finger Video shows that employee opened the side access door to Bread slicer 2 without hitting the Estop button She did not give the blade drums time to come to a complete stop before reaching into the slicer The employees hand came in contact with moving blades resulting in a laceration to the pad on the end of the middle finger on the right hand The employee was not wearing cut resistant gloves at the time of the incident
