Before the incident
Working to clear bark debris from the bottom side of the bark hog.
What happened
Employee was in the process of clearing a plug in the bark hog. A second employee was also working to clear this plug from the top side of the bark hog. The debris causing the plug was being manually removed from the hog arbor screens. As the debris was being removed the arbor rotated slightly which caused the sharp edge of a hog hammer digger to contact the employee 's wrist resulting in a laceration.
