Grinding using a grinding wheel

Tech was using a grinder to cut down welds for the deadplates at the discharge of Palletizer 17. He had on the correct PPE including safety glasses a hat and a full face shield. He had to lay on the ground and reach under the conveyor to grind the welds. During the grinding a foreign object entered his left eye. He stopped and tried to flush it out then called the supervisor who called for EMTs to assist with the foreign matter in his eye
