What happened
Making sure passengers were seated for ac movement and trying to de-escalate a disorderly passenger.[REDACTED] (mother who started being disruptive upon landing) refused to comply with fa instructions and her son decided to get involved stating that his mother will not be disrespected I advised him to have a seat and that he was interfering with crew members duties. He then balled his fist and bowed out his chest when he was advised the second time to be seated at that point he lunged at me causing us to fall backwards into a row of pax. I had him in a hold so that he wouldn’t harm other pax with throwing punches. He could only punch me in the rib area several times.
