Before the incident
Taking inventory of the cooler on the bottom of the cart.
What happened
I was FA3 and was taking inventory of the cart for our second turn of the day. It was going to be a short flight so LFA and I used to team work to determine who would do what when so I did inventory after deplaning and was finishing up my last shelf ( the cooler) as the first pax were to begin boarding. As I stood up from my squat my head crashed into the metal retractable tray ( on the [REDACTED] galley). I immediately screamed and fell back and held my head and then quickly went into the flight deck so the passengers boarding wouldn’t see me crying.
