The employee was filling a propane cylinder for a forklift ([REDACTED]-20)

When the propane tank was full the employee attempted top shut the tank by the use of the bleeder valve (fixed maximum liquid level gauge). The escaping propane gas came in contact with the employee’s right hand 's skin due to not wearing gloves.

The employee suffered an exposure to propane gas. This caused a chemical burn frostbite which developed into blisters develop until later that evening.
