EE was installing CTs and a meter in a switch gear While using a hand tool to strip wire the EE felt a pop in their left hand (palm area between their thumb and pinky) EEs index finger also locked up In total EE had to strip 20 wire ends on this job EE was able to complete the work EE did work [REDACTED] and [REDACTED] but the type of work they were doing did not result in any pain (pain only occurs when stripping cutting and bending wire) EE felt some minor discomfort today ([REDACTED]) and reported the injury EE did use other hand tools (torque wrench knife screwdriver 12v nut driver and manual nut driver) during the job but these were not in use when the pain was experienced
