What happened
As per employee: I Was cleaning up sterile field after surgery I was not made aware of sharp that was unnoticeable. After placing sharps in container and into the sharps bin in the room I cleaned the instrument 's up and began to roll up the back table my right-hand palm was punctured by something sharp. After opening the table cover I discovered the veres needle that had punctured my hand I squeezed my palm making the blood come out and cleaned my hand with purell. E4839455
