What happened
While mixing a bag of baselite to line a ladle the employee was lifting and dropping the grating to remove additional material. While doing this the employee had his hand resting on the side of the mixer. He ended up getting his finger into a crush area and dropped the grating onto his right pointer finger causing a laceration.
