Using Impact gun to unbolt die bolts

Auto Press Operator stated Was told to use an impact wrench in which I was not trained hurt my wrist in the process. Per supervisor manager he was trained on how to use impact gun but when asked to unbolt die bolts he refused saying he cannot do it it 's not his job and later ask for his union rep. Union rep came and said What if employee gets hurt by using impact gun he was not trained ..Supervisor and manager both showed employee again in presence of union rep. how to use impact wrench as a re-training and asked him to unbolt die bolts while observing APO. APO used impact gun for 10 seconds to unbolt one bolt and then said now my wrist hurt and want to go to the clinic. Gun weighs 10.5 lbs.
