Throwing scrap in teardown scrap bin

On [REDACTED] 25 Employee was in the process of throwing teardown scrap in the scrap container staged on the floor. As he leaned over on the scrap container to arrange the scrap evenly to make room for more scrap to fit in he accidently hit the lever causing the scrap container tilt towards him causing the employee to lose his balance and hitting the edge of the container on his abdomen. Employee informed the supervisor at the end of the shift and refused medical attention when offered. [REDACTED] on [REDACTED] 25 employee came to work worked half shift and told the supervisor about having pain in his belly and navel area and asked to go to the clinic. Clinic diagnosed strain and contusion of abdominal wall.
