Employee picked up 2 flat metal parts weighing approx 30 lbs each and leaned them together in order to set them on a flat pallet that was on the ground.

When he picked the parts up they missed the pallet and fell sideways and landed on his right foot in a similar motion to an overhead door closing downwards. He was wearing steel toe boots but it hit his foot past the point where the steel toe was located.
