Ambulance driving didn 't know EMT-B and patient were exiting so he started driving. EMT-B banged on the passenger side door to get driver 's attention but driver thought it was a nearby male trying to breach the unit so he accelerated. EMT-B fell and rear passenger side tire of ambulance ran over EMT-B 's left hip leg.
