Associate was picking up parts from conveyor belt and grinding imperfections then placing part back on the conveyor

As the operator went to pick up apart from the conveyor a tear in the conveyor belt caught on the associates left index finger. When she went to pull the part upwards the conveyor caused a laceration on her finger.
