Bun line metal detector had a jam up. Employee had conveyor stopped as it stopped the retracting belt pulled back and had a bun on the side of the belt. Since employees had stopped conveyor employee reached into retracting belt to remove bun while removing bun retracting bun went back to normal operating position due to pneumatics still being operational and not interlocked with start stop button and caught employees hand
