I CALLED THE ELEVATOR TO come TO SECOND FLOOR. the DOOR OPENED I STEPPED IN. NOT KNOWING THAT THE FLOOR OF THE ELVEATOR WAS NOT LEVEL WITH THE L&D HALLWAY FLOOR. THIS CAUSED ME TO DROP ON TO MY LEFT FOOT STUMBLING INTO THE ELEVATOR WHILE I ATTEMPTED TO CATCH MYSELF TO PREVENT FALLING. I am not certain how long the drop was onto the elevator floor but would estimate 6-12 inches.
