I CALLED THE ELEVATOR TO come TO SECOND FLOOR. the DOOR OPENED I STEPPED IN. NOT KNOWING THAT THE FLOOR OF THE ELVEATOR WAS NOT LEVEL WITH THE L&D HALLWAY FLOOR. THIS CAUSED ME TO DROP ON TO MY LEFT FOOT STUMBLING INTO THE ELEVATOR WHILE I ATTEMPTED TO CATCH MYSELF TO PREVENT FALLING. I am not certain how long the drop was onto the elevator floor but would estimate 6-12 inches.

stepped into misaligned elevator floor

fell directly onto right knee then twisting leg under her body. Her shoes would have been wet from the walkway outside she stepped onto the slippery tiles in the entry and fell

elevator floor misalignment

I now have muscle pain and spasms up my back that surround to my rib cage. My left ankle foot (previous surgical foot) is a bit swollen and aches more than normal
