Before the incident
Removing an ingredient from warehouse racking.
What happened
EE was removing a pallet of cheese from cooler warehouse racking when a piece of wood fell from above and got behind his safety glasses and entered his right eye. EE rinsed it out using eyewash. EE initially declined Medcor and further first aid. Later after shift EE 's eye was still bothering them and they went to doctor. Doctor determined there was scratch on the eye. EE notified supervisor of visit EE returned to work without restrictions.
