The Operator was running [REDACTED] when a piece of cardboard fell out of the end of the coil triggering the presence sensing device and stopping the equipment. The Operator went to pick up the cardboard strip before restarting the press. When the Operator reached down to grab the cardboard their head hit the outstretched coil between the de-reeler and the leveler.
