Before the incident

The nurse and I was trying to get the patient from the chair to the bed as she requested using the [REDACTED] steady lift.

What happened

The nurse and I was trying to get the patient from the chair to the bed as she requested. We used the [REDACTED] steady lift. but the patient wasn 't able to help us pull herself up by holding on to the bar. we had to hold each side of her while she held onto the bar to get her lifted out of the chair. Once we finally got the patient up on the lift we struggled to roll the lift to the bed. When we finally reached the bed with the lift we had to repeat the steps of standing her up to lift the seats on the lift so we could guide her to the bed to sit down. The patient wasn 't able to help us at all. During the process of all of this something popped in my hand. I felt a pull in my left shoulder and my back. The nurse was aware of what happened because I immediately told her of the pain. I didn 't write out an accident report because I couldn 't afford to get any points taking away. But I was still able to work but was limited to the pressure of extreme weight being put on me.
