Worker was grabbing a box out of a metal crate

Cut to right middle finger. 3 [REDACTED] 25 [REDACTED]: Worker was grabbing a box out of a metal crate (Shown below)`. The back of their hand bumped into the middle support bar which caused a small cut to their right middle finger. EHS responded to the injury to provide medical treatment. The cut was only about 0.5 inches long. Antibiotic cream and a band aide were applied to the wound. As the wound was not bleeding EHS decided to not send them to an outside medical clinic deeming it unnecessary. The worker decided after their shift had ended to go to the hospital ER. The doctor excused the worker from work the following day on [REDACTED] 25. The worker returned to work without restrictions on 3 26 25
