What happened
The bander machine operator who works next to the injured TM ([REDACTED]) was unjamming the bander and had taken the heavy bander cover off and set it on [REDACTED] workstation infront of [REDACTED]. [REDACTED] was reaching over the cover to perform his work and when he moved his elbows backward they caught the bander cover causing it to fall onto his leg (note he was wearing shorts). This resulted in a long shallow laceration to his shin and 2 deeper thick- flap cuts. The first responders did not clean under the flaps. The next day [REDACTED] had [REDACTED] look at the lacerations; [REDACTED] noted that the flap lacerations appeared to have black grease around them and determined they had not been cleaned sufficiently. [REDACTED] checked and the flaps were affixed to the wound so [REDACTED] recommended that the TM be seen at the clinic for wound cleaning.
