Before the incident
Associate pulled the loose safety cover back with the interlock still in place and master on. Reached in with right hand using hand tool to dislodge the jammed part. The part unjammed allowing the transfer to resume and move forward.
What happened
Associate tried to quickly reach down with left hand between transfer to remove part. The transfer returned and caught their left-hand pulling hand across the station base resulting in laceration to back of hand wrist. The associate hit the E-Stop to stop the transfer and take pressure off hand.
