Before the incident
EE was operating the Mafo cleaning system washing a stainless steel batchtainer.
What happened
The operator made a procedural error and allowed the batchtainer to fill with hot water during the cleaning cycle. After the cycle they moved the batchtainer close to a drain and opened the valve at the bottom. When this happened the operator flooded their boots with hot water.
