Picking up items for delivery

At approximately [REDACTED] on [REDACTED] in the main warehouse for the hospital in the basement while picking items for delivery an employee slipped and rolled their ankle and lowered assisted themselves to the ground in a semi controlled manner. Employee reports they felt something beneath their foot that allowed them to slide in an unnatural way. Employee reports they did not hit any other parts of their body including their head or wrists hands as they flattened or assisted themselves to the ground due to the pain in the ankle. The ED was called to take the employee to the ED for assessment and they arrived at approximately [REDACTED] to take the employee for assessment and care in a wheelchair. While waiting an ice pack was applied to the affected area. Employee health notified. At [REDACTED] same day employee reports XRAY taken. [REDACTED] same day Employee reports discharge with a sprained ankle. Employee reports considerable pain.
