Before the incident
Employee was setting a new cable roll onto lazy susan platform for extruder #2. After setting the roll he began to cut the bands holding the roll together.
What happened
The cable end was not visible while it was set on the platform. As employee began cutting the metal bands the cable end whipped towards the employee 's face. The cable struck employee 's nose and left eye area.
