Before the incident
removing lines from a downed power pole
What happened
He was removing the downed power lines from the broken pole laying in the water the pole shifted position and rotated. During this rotation an insulator attached to the pole rubbed the forearm of the employee. The glass insulator was chipped and cut the employee as it rotated past him. The employee was given a ride to the nearest clinic where he received seven stitches. After his clinic visit he was returned to the crew and worked the remainder of the day.
