Myself and [REDACTED] were int he middle of cleaning a patient [REDACTED] and as we were cleaning him the patient started to get agitated and then started to get physical with us starting with grabbing our arms and wrists with the intent to harm then proceeded to escalate his physical aggression by punching and kicking at us. Hitting myself in the ribs 5-10x in repeated succession. Our unit secretary [REDACTED] and our charge nurse [REDACTED] and [REDACTED] were involved in the incident. it took all of us to deescalate the patient along and during that time he threatened violence multiple times
