What happened
CRN assisting primary RN w foley irrigation foley sprayed back into CRNs eyes. CRN attempted to contact hotline number which was not available. CRN called House Supervisor advised to complete a 15minute eye irrigation at the eye wash station. Provider notified of exposure MD obtained consent from patient for blood testing including viral load. Employee advised to go to ER for additional assessment. Employee completed exposure packet with guidance from House. Rapid lab samples in process at this time.
