at about [REDACTED] [REDACTED] hours a [REDACTED] patient in room cardiac 4 who was suspected to be on meth attempted to run from the emergency department and flee the hospital. He pushed past myself and Officer [REDACTED]. I chased the patient from the cardiac 4 into the hospital 's Fast Track department. The patient attempted to turn left at a hallway intersection and due to his running speed he failed to negotiate the turn. He bounced off a door on the right and back into me. While he was not offensively fighting me he was aggressively trying to escape. I briefly grabbed ahold of him but he pulled away. He attempted to push open the double doors leading into the Fast Track waiting room but failed. He again bounced back into me whereupon i grabbed ahold of his body and we both bounced off the walls and door. This lasted for 5-10 seconds.
