Before the incident
Employee placed a put away cart full of parts to be stocked into the parts elevator to be taken to the 2nd floor mezzanine area for put away.
What happened
Employee was retrieving put away cart off of the parts elevator. During this process the cart rolled over the diamond plating outside the elevator. A part that was fully on the cart bounced while being pulled over diamond plate causing it to fall off of the put away cart and onto the employee 's right toe
