What happened
During a difficult C S using a vacuum the vacuum popped off and I was hit in the face by the physicians hand elbow or vacuum. I immediately felt like I was going to pass out and backed away from the sterile field. I lost consciousness for a short time the circulator was able to assist me to the floor. I was taken to the ED by the manager and APU ANM. A CT Scan was done and a mild concussion was the diagnosis. I was discharged home.
