Before the incident
Removal of Spray foam from underneath the cab assembly
What happened
On [REDACTED] about [REDACTED] a team member from building B paint department was removing spray foam that was underneath a fire truck cab. As the team member was working the team member was scrapping from above his head wearing his safety glasses. The team as he was scrapping and working the foam particles ended up getting past the safety glasses and into the team member 's eye. ERT members responded to assist the team member trying to flush the eye out with eye wash station fluid and were not able to remove the foam from under the team member left eyelid. Team member was sent to Concentra for further evaluation and care.
