Before the incident
Bringing the patient back from dialysis to her room.
What happened
We were bringing back a patient from dialysis; we previously had this patient and had trouble with her bed. It took us almost 30 minutes to get the bed out of the room. It was a motorized bariatric bed and it was all the way inflated. Bringing this bed back into the room we could not get it back through the doors. The other person was trying to move the bed forward in order to move it backwards into her room and the bed moved forward too fast which crushed my knee into the wall between the bed and the wall behind. The patient was in the bariatric bed as well.
Injury or illness
Lifting the trash bag and pulled right shoulder.
Object or substance involved
Bed gurney
Summary line
My knee was crushed into the wall. They could not identifty the injury in the x-ray.
