washing in decontam for my shift i opened red bin hazard bin to pick up fistula set 2 to get ready to wash set when i went to lift the fistula basket a suture needle poked through my double gloved left middle finger. a tissie forcep was poking out the sets basket holes with a suture needle on the forcep tip set was dirty not cleaned yet.
