What happened
Treated - While attempting to load a crate onto a deck the associate attempted to place a beam underneath the crate when the shipment slid off the forklift blades. As a result the associate??s left hand became wedged between the beam he was holding and another beam already positioned against the trailer wall. The impact caused a serious hand injury with immediate swelling and bleeding. The employee was sent to the hospital for medical evaluation.
