What happened
EHS submitting for supervisor: [REDACTED] was pulling gates and managed to smash his left ring finger. He was trying to get the gating off [REDACTED] clutch plate and brought the casting down onto his hand. He came to me we put an ice pack on it and I gave him some [REDACTED]. He went back to pulling gates until about [REDACTED] and then decided he could no longer work but didn 't want to get medical attention at the time. I sent him home and told him to come back in the morning to visit EHS if he felt he needed to go to IMED and get checked out.
