Before the incident
The claimant went on the elevator to the 3rd floor and entered through the secured double doors stepping on a wet carpet that was immediately beyond the doors. The claimant was unaware that the carpet was wet because there were no signs posted indicating that the floor was wet. She realized that she had forgotten her phone downstairs and turned around using her key fob to re-enter through the secured doors. As she walked through the door to reach the elevator she slipped on the linoleum floor beyond the secured door. The fall began with her left leg moving forward first and her right knee hitting the ground causing her to fall into a splits position. Claimant disclosed that she felt pain as if she pulled something.
