What happened
EE to medical for FROI with supervisor [REDACTED]. Per EMMS statement: I was looking for the mark on the #5 main and put my right arm in to rotate the crank and the gantry came down on my arm. Employee attributes injury to gantry clamp door lock was on lock position on 210.250-27 was in manual and came down in machine and clamped on arm on top of crank.. EE is [REDACTED] male Nissan EE for 22years. EE works in machining maintenance. EE reports pain as 10 on 0-10 scale and is sore tender constant aching swelling with tingling in hands and fingers. States has pain when arm is hanging down. Pain radiates to fingers with tingling. Pain was slightly improved with medication while at ER. Pain worse with certain motions and working and activity. Allergic to [REDACTED]. Prior WC injury while EE with NIssan with L middle finger laceration in [REDACTED]. Part time farmer outside of Nissan. Lists hobbies as hunting.
