Before the incident
AHG Medical Assistant sustained a contaminated needlestick to side of the left hand. The EE has provided an IM flu shot to pt and when EE withdrew the needle it fell off the syringe and stuck the EE in the side of the opposite hand that was providing the injection. Needlestick on left hand near pointer finger. EE was able to wash hands immediately after.
