Allina Health CEC representative reports vocal cord injury while working at CE on [REDACTED] at [REDACTED]. EE reports was taking inbound calls to schedule appointments and somebody used something fragrant perfume or lotion which caused EE to lose voice. EE reports has vocal cord dysfunction that causes reaction to strong scents. EE reports this reaction causes chest tightness hoarse voice or loss of voice. EE reports attempted to continue to take calls but voice completely went out. EE reports reported issue to supervisor and was moved to different part of CEC. EE reports when EE moved desk and gets away from smell voice was initially restored. EE reports then [REDACTED] EE returned to work and was fine initially but around [REDACTED] had vocal cords react and lost voice again. EE reports left that day around [REDACTED] as voice did not return and has not.
