Loading a green tire into curing press 212

EE was loading a tire into the curing press with the hoist. He states the tire was stuck and wouldn 't seat down completely over the metal ring at the top of the bladder. He was holding the tire with his hands and used his knee to knock it into place. He states when he struck the tire with his knee it fell into place and his finger was caught between the tire and the metal ring and he immediately pulled his hand out.
