What happened
Employee States: While driving to Store [REDACTED] employee thought he smelled something burning. When he got to the store he lowered the deer guard and popped the hood to check. He did not find anything. When closing everything up. He pushed the deer guard to latch it. While pulling to confirm it was latched it released which caused him to slip. After losing his balance the deer guard struck his right knee violently hyper extending it.
